All food contains two fungicides: 0.15% Tegosept and 0.44% propionic acid unless specified otherwise.
Agar percentage is adjusted based on gel strength of agar batch in use and is indicated on each food label.
Food is dispensed into:
- narrow vials: polystyrene, 25x95 mm, 10 ml of food/vial, 100 vials/tray;
- wide vials: polystyrene, 28.5x95 mm, 15 ml of food/vial, 100 vials/tray;
- square-bottom bottles: polypropylene, 6 oz bottles, 50 ml of food/bottle.
- grape juice trays: in styrofoam tray, 8 x 10 x 5/8 inches, 250 ml of the medium/tray.
By default, food trays are covered with Press'n Seal then shrink-wrapped. Bottles are shrink-wrapped 25 per cardboard tray. There are options for both vials and bottles to be plugged with cellulose acetate plugs.

Notes: Please store food trays upside down with open tops sealed by Press'n Seal in sealed plastic bags at low temperature and use them in 10 days (position as shown in the title pictures).
After long storage at low temperature, food will shrink, pulling away from container wall and expelling water. It is called syneresis, caused by retrogradation of starches in the food.
If stored at 4oC, B and M food usually start cracking from sides in a little over a month. A food in about a week. R food can develop water issues within a week.
